Boundary County, ID
JAS were awarded a planning and design contract through the Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) for the construction of Westside Road and Trout Creek Bridge located in Boundary County. The project was funded by the Local Highway Technical Assistance Council (LHTAC). JAS began to design in 2014, and the project was contracted for construction in 2020.
JAS designed the roadway, performed open channel hydraulic analysis of Trout Creek, designed the bridge, provided surveying, wetland delineation, and mitigation services, and prepared contract documents for permitting, bidding, and construction.
Regulatory agencies that JAS frequently contacted and assisted our client with permitting for this project included the Idaho Transportation Department, Idaho Department of Water Resources, Idaho Department of Lands, and the US Army Corps of Engineers.
